On Crafting Erotic Anger
for a personal and collective paradigm shift
As Sex and the Serpent, Anger is a taboo topic feared for its instinctual impulsivity in the patriarchal era.
When a human aversion exists, my mind can not prevent me from inquiring into the root causes of such phenomena.
I feel it is good to remember that anger demonization is serving well the patriarchal need for preserving a dictated order where a minority rules while silencing and delegitimizing marginalized voices of the oppressed. Anger labelled as taboo can be seen as a potent weapon of the colonizers for control and domination. Today, many psychologists point out that anger is healthy and functional instead of systematically pathologizing it.
When one feels anger, one can feel the fear of being overwhelmed and raptured by a larger force which may be destructive and detrimental while losing the bond of relationality and harmony. This of course can happen, but the different layers are much more complex and varied. Here I would like to talk about the natural healthy anger’s impulse for the restoration of human instinctual wisdom.
Due to the fear of being labelled as crazy, irrational or overly emotional, many women have been silenced and even gaslighted. This fear has disempowered women while cutting them off from the power of their Erotic current pulsing an anger as the protector acting against the violation of innocence, bodies, boundaries and true expression. Besides being expelled from the knowing of their guts, womb and body, the fire of their withheld anger, at the risk of being the scapegoat, has been weakening their immune system and dysregulating their nervous system. As sex, anger and the serpent have been demonized in the collective psyche, so is the natural Fight response of our nervous system. In this patriarchal realm, calmness and rationality are kings while the feminine qualities of non linearity, beyond rationality and mystery have been relegated into the deep waters of the subconscious mind. But now is the time during which the collective is asked to meet these remnant ghosts, preventing women from inhabiting their totality for their sovereignty.
So how to restore our Erotic Anger and become the sacred activist of our own body and psyche for the procreation of the emerging new era?
It is about leaving the realm of the head and the beat of the heart too strained and beaten to the flesh by the injustices, atrocities and distortions to descend in the forgotten realm of the Feminine where the eternal Flame has always been burning on the altar of our womb, the flame of another way of knowing for our way out of this controlling distorted system. By re-owning our womb, the pulse of the Erotic is the compass for an anger not (or less) being polluted by resentment and bitterness, conditioning inherited from the old patriarchal paradigm we are called to leave now for culture’s evolution. When one’s anger is rooted in her erotic pulse which is the essential beat pulsing the entire reality as well as the center of our psyche and in its core untainted and unviolated by any distortions vibrating in direct coherence with the laws of the cosmos, the Source and the Earth, one will taste an anger which will ignite a fire in her heart breathed by the condensed force of Eros/Love interweaving the entire universe while being anointed with a stark immediate clarity born from her instinctual wisdom to be moved directly from Eros for a sharp and impactful action springing from of her Erotic Anger. Then, there will be no more hesitation, confusion, collapse or fear. Erected in her Erotic Anger, centered in her womb, her sacred fire will burn for the restoration of innocence for a paradigm shift humanity is ready for.
It is about reconnecting with the ecology of the depth of the Earth where nourishment and rest can infuse each of our cells for the anger to be a response from the immediate Now unpolluted by resentment, frustration and reactive responses anchored in exhaustion and patriarchal distortions. Down into the Earth, spiralling with the Serpent, one can meet a realm prior to the conditioning and residual justified anger vibrating the patriarchal frequency. Roots deeply anchored, a body will be able to soften and surrender for the dissolution of the patriarchal textures to be anointed and be breathed and rewired by the breath of creation prior to patriarchy for the strengthening of our vessel to contain and direct an anger pulsing the potent Erotic pulse of creation springing directly from the Source for the rise of the Erotic Anger.
